From wife
I was skeptical since it is a baby formula. I bought this for my adult Down Syndrome son who has this weird white scaly hard fungus growth looking patch on both knees. And they’re big. Doctor said it was a form of eczema. The only thing that worked was a steroid sample he was given. I don’t know why I never got a full tube of the stuff. Maybe it was because of the steroid factor. But it’s been years and I’ve bought him different eczema formula lotions and creams and spray to try. Nothing has worked to soothe it. So far this lotion healed the dry white scaly part and the skin underneath is exposed again. It’s super pink and looks raw but it seems like it’s healing! If I remember I will update with any more progress. So far I’m impressed.

Amazing!! Fixed dry skin and red patches almost overnight!!
My 4 month old’s skin was getting really really rough on her arms, parts of her thighs, and her torso was getting little red irritated spots all over. At first I thought the dry spots would go away with more lotion and TLC…. I was using Aveeno baby, Aquaphur ointment, and unscented everything on her to avoid any skin issues. The dryness remained and it started to get worse and worse, it was so rough! The red spots on her torso I assumed were a different issue and reactions to her clothing, but after checking with dr google I realized she may be dealing with a bit of baby eczema in both areas!! I jumped on Amazon to try something asap targeted for that issue before dragging her to the Dr with Covid happening over a bit of skin issues…im sure the dr would say it could be anything since babies have such sensitive skin.Anyway, I bought this based on reviews and WAS AMAZED. I put it on at night before bed and the next morning her arms were about 50% better and soft again!!! Her red areas on her chest were also almost gone!! I cant believe how FAST this worked after all the other baby creams and oil I had tried on her before!! I put it on her 2x a day for a week to clear everything fully, backed off to once a day at night, and now just use it as spot treatment as needed. The cream gave her no irritation and has no smell to it (I hate anything lotion/cream-wise with smells added) if you are dealing with any skin issues just give this a try! Worked for me as well as the others leaving reviews here, so it is worth a shot!

Got a dry/itchy skin, then give this a shot
This is a great product for dry skin, rash or eczema. I have been using this on my 2 month old since he was 2weeks after pediatrician’s recommendation. At the time, he really had very bad rash all over his body. And the pediatrician gave us some samples to try out, she also said we could either use this or Aquaphor or cerave. I have got both of them at my home except this eucerin eczema relief. But none of them helped him as much as this eucerin. Just like the docto saidr, I was using lot of cream everytime on him and apply 3 to 4 times a day or whenever I remember. I kept the tube handy at bed side and every time I am on bed feeding him I was applying. Sometimes even if it’s not the whole body at least the parts like face, hands and legs that are exposed. Within couple of days I saw great improvement. His skin was getting smoother. Within a week everyone else could feel and tell the difference since his skin tone got pretty without that rash. It’s like, my friends and family were asking me, “hey, what did you do, his skin magically changed and he looks pretty now”. That made me real happy.Once I was out of the sample tubes, I started using the aquaphor that I use on my 3 year old all the time. But no, it’s not working, he is going back to that rough skin. I am not sure why is that, coz I have been using Aquaphor on my 3 year old ever since he was a baby and it worked great for him but not for my little one. So I have ordered these on amazon, I am using it daily and it’s just working great. So if you or your kid has skin issues try this out. Never know which one works for your skin. By the way, I personally use and love Cerave very much .One tip, which ever you decide to use, apply it right after bath. Looks like the moisturizer is better absorbed that way. It’s like damp sponge absorb more water than a dry one. Hope this helps.

First-Time Mom Recommended
Being a first time mom, it’s hard to figure out what is best to use on your baby’s skin. Early baby reacts different and what may be recommended by your pediatrician may not end up working for your baby. So with this understanding please note that my experience may not be yours. However, this lotion has been working for my baby girl since day one. She’s now 13 months and it had kept her skin moisturized for most of the day if not all day, without being oily. She hasn’t had any adverse reactions either, which was one of my main concerns. The fact that it’s meant for sensitive skin helped convince me to give it a try. So if you’re wondering what to use for your baby that can keep their skin stay hydrated without a reaction and that is pediatrician recommended, then try this lotion. Plus there is the bonus of it not having a strong scent to irritate you or the baby.Overall a must try and for me a must have

Worked for my baby’s ezcema pretty fast!
Our baby had ezcema on his chin and around his eyes or about 2 weeks now. It wasn’t severe by any means nor very itchy but we didn’t want this to become worse or chronic. After a single full day of use (I applied about 4 times very generously in one day), our baby’s ezcema feels much smoother and less dry. I would recommend this to parents who have babies that have mild ezcema that feel reluctant to go to the doctor’s right away or using something with steroids.

Work Wonders
My son had some bad eczema, so much so that his doctor prescribed a cream for it. The prescription did nothing for his skin but this lotion worked wonders. I put the lotion on after his bath and before bed and when he woke up in the morning, his skin was so much better. Highly recommend.

Magic in a bottle!
Ok y’all, my husband has terrible eczema so we expected my son (4mo) to get it. When I tell you my baby had dry skin, I. Mean. DRY! We tried many many lotions. We got to the point where were covering him head to toe in coconut oil 3x per day for a couple of week and his skin was still raw and flaking from dryness; in fact, it was getting worse. His skin was so sad that our pediatrician suggested it might be coinciding with a food allergy. We tried a sample of this lotion before his first eczema flare up and I liked it. So, desperate after the failed coconut oil, I bought a full sized bottle. It arrived yesterday. I used this head to toe instead of coconut oil at bedtime and this morning his skin looked INCREDIBLE! No more patchy redness, no more flaking. Just a little discoloration from his own chub rub. He’s been so much happier this morning. He seems so comfortable. This will be our only lotion from now until he fights me about moisturizing!

this cream is AMAZING.
And I’m not exaggerating. I recently got very bad hives from an anaphylactic reaction at work two months ago, and this patch of dry skin just wouldn’t go away. I tried various creams and remedies, even drinking benadryl but nothing worked. I bought three different types of cortizone creams, since it was very much recommended by everyone and their mothers, but I felt that the dry skin was getting even worse, swollen AND itchier. My sister in law then recommended this cream to me, and I was astounded since I believed “the cream is only meant for babies though?”Yet, I still purchased it. And after one use, as you can see in the picture, I saw a HUGE difference. My skin went from a rough crusty patch of dragon scales to a semi softness I’ve been dying to feel for weeks now. The itchiness completely stopped, the redness went away, and I am just in awe. And it was all just after one use!! I highly recommend this product, and I would drop money on it again any day.

This has turned my son’s skin around in the matter of days. He had a few dry spots around his legs and back of his arms and we’ve been putting this on morning and night and it’s resolved the dry skin spots. Would recommend to any parent searching for a dry skin solution.

Best lotion for dry skin babies
I purchased this cream at the behest of my 8 mos old’s pediatrician around month 5. She had started to get dry patches on her arms, legs and trunk. I also use aquaphor ointment on the especially dry areas, in her neck wrinkles/behind ears etc., but this cream is perfect for all over the body after baths and general moisture before bed. I had used Mustela, Amazon brand Mamabear lotion, and neither of them did anything, they were too watery and the Mustela is very strongly scented, especially for a newborn. (their other products are good, but the lotion in particular had such a strong scent!) My daugher’s pediatrician said not to bother with any “lotions” that only creams or aquaphor type products would do the trick for eczema and she was right. My daughter’s eczema is now under control and the non-scented and thickish cream feels good massaging into her arms and legs after bathtime. It is not greasy, just perfect. I just wish Amazon sold larger containers.

Works great for very dry skin!
My son (18 months) does not have Eczema, but he does get severely dry patches from time to time due to weather and drooling at night. Normal lotions don’t work on those patches, but this works wonders! It takes about three days for this to clear it up. It’s gentle enough for his sensitive skin, and thick enough to do the job needed. The only critique I have is that it has a slight soapy smell. If your baby or toddler struggles with dry skin, this is the cream you are looking for!

Works well!
It’s hard to find a lotion that works. After trying several brands, we found this did the best job. Depending on how bad it is, you will need to reapply a few times. But we saw improvement after each reapplication.

Superior Eczema hydration and relief. Buy It!
My 5 year old son has pretty bad eczema. It is made even worse during the winter months. His main problem area is his hands from the habitual hand washing. I have used a plethora of eczema creams and ointments; including prescription topical treatments. This product is by far the best. The biggest factors that make this product superior to all others is two fold. First, it is odor and sting free! When dealing with a 5 year old, having to convince him to put on the cream regularly is hard enough. Mix in a burning stinky treatment, and you have utter failure. Second, this product is nice and thick. The key in treating eczema is keeping the area moist and hydrated. Most competitive products fail miserably. They usually dry off and so does the skin and the itch is back. With Eucerin Eczema relief crème, it penetrates the skin, and lasts for hours. I try to apply the crème onto my kiddo’s hands after every hand wash, and every four hours or so.Definitely buy this product! You won’t be disappointed!

Lotion
My daughter’s hands were cracked and bleeding so I decided to try this out since none of our lotions were very effective at home. It is a good travel size to bring to school. Her hands have gotten better since. Not watery, a bit thick so takes time to absorb. It has eased her eczema. I would definitely recommend.

heals retinol rash quickly
I had a bad retinol rash on my neck for about a month that wouldn’t go away. It was quite itchy and very red and scaly, and when I put other moisturizers, Aquaphor, or sunscreen on it it would aggravate the rash even more. This cream is the only thing that worked! It has only been two days but the rash is no longer itchy and barely noticeable anymore — before, it was the reddest it had ever been. Further, the rash is significantly less dry.

Highly recommend for baby eczema
We have tried so many creams and this is the one that finally cleared up my 4-month-old baby’s facial eczema. We were always using steroid creams at least once a week. This Eucerin product has kept his skin clear for a while now and we haven’t had to use steroids since starting the Eucerin. Highly recommendUpdate: the cream really only helped for a week. My baby’s eczema flared up again after that.

Great thick soothing but…
This product did not heal my 6 month baby’s severe eczema. It did cost it nicely, and even though the ingredients are not “organic” or “natural” it feels very nice. What did heal my baby’s eczema was me not eating wheat, dairy or nuts. It cleared in 10 days. I breastfeed her. This might help other mothers that read this review and need a solution.

Unfortunately did not help my sons eczema
I was really hoping this would help my son’s eczema after reading reviews. I think it all truly depends upon each baby. I tried Aveeno Eczema Cream and it made my son’s face beyond red. It was horrible. I felt so bad. However, this did not help either. I ended up settling upon a very basic solution of pure 100% vaseline in the fridge. It seems to work like a charm. Upon doing some research about eczema, I found many articles stating that lotions and creams can make eczema worse during a flare up. It may be great to PREVENT a future flare up but not during it. An 100% oil based only product like vaseline or 100% pure extra virgin pressed coconut oil truly HEALS ezcema without all the unnecessary ingridients some of these lotions have. If your looking to try something as well that is not lotion, I suggest these options. They are the best most natural healing cooling solutions for a babies skin

Best for my child
This has been the only over the counter product for my little ones eczema that’s actually helped, I tried several others like Dove eczema treatment for flair ups and he just screamed that it “hurt.”It just recently started to appear around a year ago, never had it before. I went to his doctor and he recommended this product, or cocoa lotion to be applied daily. He has it horribly most of the time and constantly have to keep up with it. It becomes worse during weather change.. The best way to apply is right after a bath or shower and never pat them dry, always pat slightly to allow the water/moisture to stay on the skin and apply lotion, so it’s entrapped. Also, try not to bathe your little one too much weekly, because it can cause the natural oil from skin to be stripped causing a worse breakout.

Eucerin Baby has saved my daughter’s skin!
Over the past 14 months, my husband and I have been in a consistent uphill battle with our baby daughter’s skin having had move to this high elevation region for his work. Her skin was dry and void of any moisture. On top of it, she turned out to have so many allergies pertaining to her skin so we were truly limited with what we could use on her. It seemed as though that regardless of what “natural” or “organic” solution we were using on her, would make her break out in hives. On top of that, through an elimination diet, we found out she was allergic to casein which would make her eczema significantly worse while giving her hives.Fast-forward to now, she’s just gotten over three allergic reactions this past month to either soap or a brand of cereal that didn’t note milk in its ingredient list. As a last chance before we saw the dermatologist for the 5th time, we decided to try Eucerin Baby Eczema products since she does well with Aquaphor (same company). Although its been one day, the results are amazing! No hives! No outbreaks! Soft, baby soft, skin! We put the itch therapy cream on first after her bath to soak in and then the lotion. Her skin is SO moisturized this morning, her eczema patches that I would have to place Aquaphor on are healing faster and she’s scratching less on her patches. I don’t think anyone, except mothers and father who have gone through a similar situation, can understand the joy this brings to my soul to not see my child in discomfort everyday.Thank you, Eucerin! I’ll be buying this until the end of time!

Absolute best!! Works for many skin issues in babies, kids and adults alike.
Wonderful cream for both my 4yr old and 4 month old children. Both suffer from dry skin issues and eczema patches and this cream has always come to the rescue. Heals very nicely, very fast leaving their skin soft and supple.I have itchy dry skin with very bad cracks on my hands that bleed due to frequent washing and this cream helps heal them. Doesn’t make the cracks go away completely but it definitely helps with dryness and itchiness. I apply it overnight when I’m resting so it gets time to work.

Thick and creamy
My 1 year old developed eczema on his legs and after trying a couple other products tried this one. While it is super thick and easy to spread it wasn’t totally effective. Relieved all the redness around his bumpy patches but the texture remained and I eventually switched to a different product that cleared him up in less than a day.

Finally have hope
After 20 years, my eczema came back and I tried a lot of things. My dermatologist tried multiple, EXPENSIVE, medications to try to heal my skin but they only seemed to make the problem worse. You can see the misery in my face. The second picture is less than 2 weeks of using this lotion. Honestly, I will probably never use another type of lotion for my skin because this was a God send. Thank you Jesus. I hope this helps you find relief.

This should be the official holly grail of lotions!
I discovered this product as the last resort due to stubborn skin issues…. I thought I would give it a try trusting that if it was formulated for babies, it would be good for me. The texture is rich, so it feels great when applying and eventually it is well absorbed but at the start, it feels sticky. My very dry and damaged skin has improved visibly.

Great Magic Cream!
The media could not be loaded.
My baby skin has been so much happier after using the cream!! The cream is fragrance -free, hypoallergenic formula soothes and moisturizes without any greasy residue which I find it as a plus since personally I don’t like my hands to feel as I just graved butter. As the bottle nears its end, getting every last drop of lotion out can be a it of a challenge. Squeezing the bottle becomes harder, and it takes some effort to get the remaining lotion out. Despite this small drawback, I still consider it a go-to product for soothing my baby’s delicate skin.

Amazing on bleeding cracked skin
My 5yo has had horrid eczema on his skin this winter and nothing was helping beyond temporary relief. Lots of things we tried made his hands get red and stinging and itchy. His hands were cracked and bleeding past his wrists. We’ve been using this lotion nightly with a pair of cotton gloves and his skin is healed of all cracks and bleeding and the roughness is almost all gone. There is no stinging or itching even when used on cracked skin. I used some on my very sensitive skin and had no adverse reaction. Also it soaks in really well and doesn’t feel sticky or greasy like a lot of eczema lotions do. I wish I had taken before and after pictures because it’s pretty amazing.

For Mom & Baby
I can use this for myself and my son. My son started getting eczema flare ups on his face. I get flare ups on my hands. I usually use hydrocortisone but I don’t like how sticky it can feel. This feels like lotion and it’s really thick so a little goes a long way. My hands cleared up after a few days. However, I noticed that if I skip a few days without using it my hands will start up again. So after washing dishes, washing my hands, etc… I put it on my problem areas. My son’s flare ups cleared quicker because his isn’t that bad.

If your baby has really bad eczema, you MUST try this lotion!!!
So, I have an almost 5 month old baby boy who was born with perfect skin and developed eczema at 4 weeks old. For the most part his skin has been usually rough and bumpy throughout his face and body. As soon as I noticed his problem I began using Aveeno lotion and wash. But his skin continued to get worse. I switched to exederm which helped his skin but didn’t take the roughness and dryness away. While I continued to manage his skin condition, still it being rough and dry my baby had a really bad “flare up”. He developed raw patches behind his knees, neck and arms. I was extremely stressed out and he didn’t have an appointment until the week after. In the meantime I ordered several lotions to try. The first one I used was Eucerin eczema baby. I put lotion on him several times a day, just like I did with the ones I previously tried on him. The next day, my baby’s face was no longer red or rough, still appeared a bit dry. The lotion didn’t appear to sting or burn. By the second day I used this lotion, his skin was soft, and no longer dry. You have to give a try. I will stock up on Eucerin eczema baby for as long as I have to. I love how it helped my baby. This is my honest review and I have NOT received anything in exchange for my review.
