Not really great for what I was looking for or on it’s own.
Scent is fine. Texture is kinda greasy and doesn’t sink in well. Extremely poor hydration. I was looking for a “heavy” cream since light ones don’t usually do enough for me, but this goes well beyond that in a bad way. Tends to leave skin dryer than most moisturizers within 12 hours.Doesn’t really exfoliate the way a urea cream should. Also frequent use tends to lead to minor irritation, but none of the benefits of exfoliants. Also VERY much dislike it for facial use. The aforementioned poor absorption and greasiness and poor moisturization really just lead to unhealthy facial skin and eventually breakouts (including on body as well which is twice as unfortunate since that’s the only use I had for it after I found that it was bad for face).Overall wouldn’t buy or recommend. Find another urea cream.EDIT: After trying it again and using it while skin is wet, being a little more consistent, and using a more conservative amount.. I think it’s fine. The overall finish is still not great even with consistent use. It does decently as a moisturizer and you get decent benefits from the urea, but it does tend to leave you a bit oily looking and not quite as hydrated. It does fine at improving texture over time.I still think there are better options and don’t recommend this as your primary facial moisturizer. It is fine for body, but I feel there could be a better product. The ingredients are very good on paper though.

Makes my skin so soft!
I’m a senior with extremely dry skin and very sensitive to certain products and smells. Finding this product was the best thing ever! My once dry skin is now soft and supple, which I honestly thought I would never find a product that could do that to my aging skin! But this one does and does it well! Highly recommend!

Very effective on dry skin
Have used both lotion and cream from Eucerin. I tend to prefer the lotion for its quick absorption, but the cream is thick and adhesive. Both products work very well, cream last a little longer because it is so thick.

DOCTOR RECOMMENDED
I love this body cream my dr. recommended it for my dry skin. I apply it after I shower or any time I think my skin is getting too dry. I find that it absorbs quickly and the smell is very faint. I highly recommend this product I am 74 years old and it makes my skin feel great.

A paste! A cream! A mess!
Update: I find I don’t want to use this creme – I have to time it so I’m not putting on clothes or not going to bed – it’s just too greasy. I’ve just tried another body cream that is just as thick and emollient that soaks right in and left my skin super soft and silky. I suppose I could use this on my feet after giving myself a pedicure — in the winter when I’d put on socks.————–Thick white emollient cream. Large ‘jar,’ (I posted an image next to a grapefruit so you can see the size better) full of product that should last a long while, and it should last for just under $14 (at time of this review).I will say one thing: this stuff will be great in the winter when the mountain air here is so dry, if I can stand the initial heaviness. I don’t have super dry skin, but I’d hoped it would be good for the “winter drys” or when my feet need a little extra care. It’s very rich and thick. However, don’t apply this creme right before you dress or right before bed, because your clothes/sheets will “stick” to you. It takes a while for this very rich emollient creme to absorb into the skin.I go barefoot a lot in the summer around the lil log house and wear flip flops, sandals, etc. As some suggested, slathering this on and putting on some socks is a good idea, but unless it’s in the winter, it’s too hot for socks (and even in the winter I end up ripping off the socks – just can’t sleep in them!). Better yet, in the cooler months, during the day I’d slather it on, pull on some cotton socks, and let the creme do its magic.Pros:Very rich and emollientA big “jar” that should last a whileThe Eucerin brand – a trusted brandIt’s likely great for very dry skin – a good “winter creme” (but not for summer, for me anyway)Cons:It’s a bit of a mess to use. I think a “pump action” application would be easier, but then it’s so thick that may be why it isn’t presented that way.The price is a little much; however, for 16oz and the Eurcerin brand, it’s expected.It’s heavy and greasy when applied and takes a bit to let it absorb into the skin.If applied and then you dress or go to bed, your clothes/sheets will stick to youConclusion:I’m on the fence about this product. I always ask myself: would I purchase this product? And the answer is probably not. At least not for my needs. It’s just a bit too gloopy for me. However, I do recommend it for someone who has very dry skin and needs something very emollient and thick and rich. I’d use it for my feet to keep them soft and pretty, but only when I can wear some socks until the creme is absorbed.Purchase this if you have “dry problem” skin that needs something very thick.

Works well for dry skin!
I use this product for my dry skin, I’ve tried so many other lotions and creams and I can honestly say that this product works very well to relieve itchy dry skin. This product works just as intended, and I really like that it’s nice and thick, not at all watery. This product helps to relieve the redness and itchiness on my legs, and I apply it right after taking a shower. It’s also helped with my cracked, dry feet and hands. Another thing that I like about this product is that it’s not greasy once applied, and it doesn’t have a smell. Overall, I highly recommend this product to my family and friends.

A bit greasy and lot creamy
This is a very thick cream with a healthy dose of oil. I bought it to use on my feet, but I found that it did not absorb and remained oily feeling. So, it ended up getting wiped off by socks or on the floor. And in the end I found that I avoided using it. I have since switched to Cetaphil, and I think it is more of what I need right now. And, since I have so much of this Eucerin left still, I might just use it for body lotion instead of as foot cream. I would suggest this product for dry skin but not on feet or elbows.

Moisture
I LOVEEE this cream. It’s very moisturizing, some people claim you can not use this on your face? I say otherwise, this is great for my face especially since I use drying acne products like Benzoyl peroxide and trention. This is great, I love it !!! Not too thick but not too light, just perfect.

Does the job
This product doesn’t work like the previous product I had. My hands feel like they need more lotion after an hour. The previous product lasted a lot longer. I’d it’s possible to get this message back to manufacturers, bring back your previous product

Great For Sensitive Skin
This is for my husband’s sensitive, dry hands. He is sensitive for everything so trying to find a lotion that does not make him react was tough. Eucerin works well for that issue. Been using for years. The only issue is that sometimes it is not moisturizing as he needs in the cold climate we live in. He will use AD ointment at night, and the Eucerin for the daytime.

Excellent for dry skin!!
I go through a jar of Eucerin Advanced Repair Cream every winter. I use this especially for my hands, but particularly for the skin around my finger nails where my skin cracks. I apply it nightly & focus on those areas. When my hands are really in rough shape I have old cloth winter gloves I wear to bed. The combination of this Advanced Repair Cream & my gloves treats my dryness & helps heal the problem areas around my nails. A main ingredient in this lotion is Glycerin. This is great for the skin because it acts as a humectant, which is a substance that allows the skin to retain moisture. It can increase skin hydration, relieve dryness, and refresh the skin’s surface. It’s also an emollient, which means it can soften skin. Not only does this lotion tend to my dryness it leaves my skin feeling very soft. I also have sensitive skin & I’ve never had any irritation. There is a subtle scent that is barely noticeable. The lotion is rich but once applied, taking the time to massage it into my skin is well worth it. It absorbs not right away but is giving my hands TLC as it works its way through my skin for deep moisture. This jar is very expensive in stores. It’s nice to find it on Amazon at an amazing price. If you suffer from dry skin period this lotion will provide relief. I highly recommend this!

Not my mother’s Eucerin
This is for the 16 oz. red lid jar for very dry skin.My mom used Eucerin decades ago and it was. thick and heavy–a bit hard to apply BUT it worked wonders.My skin has become very dry–long–story so I ordered this expecting the same product. It is not.One reviewer said chemicals have been added and there is a pretty long list of ingredients but this is dye, scent and Paragon-free (the latter being a preservative so I do not know the shelf life of this).I have used it for two days only and it far excels anything else I have used. It is creamy and easy to apply. I use it on hands, elbows and especially my rough heels. With daily use I don’t expect shelf life to be a problem.This isn’t my mother’s Eucerin which may disappoint some, but I could not be happier.

Great Product.
This product healed my leg even with other ointment on it it seemed to heal faster, I checked with my pharmacist first. Bless her , She was right,,, This is a must if you have dry cracking skin on your lower legs, I won’t go without this product, now, even though it’s a bit pricey for my low-income budget. Gentle
Eucerin Advanced Repair Body Cream is the most gentle and soothing cream I have used in years. It spreads easily and goes a LONG way. I have been using it on my husband’s bald head when the dermatologist gave him a sample after he had the Blue Light treatment on his scalp. I now use it on my skin and have sent some to my mother in a nursing home. She really likes it.

I don’t usually write a review on the creams but this one impressed me not only what it can do for my skin, but the price is great too. The ingredients are “clean”, so I also feel good putting it on myself. I add just a dash of copper peptides to the whole jar, it mixes well too. Love the product.

Don’t wait for the ‘oof’
This stuff is lovely! I have very ugly , brown spotted, dry, flaky old lady skin on my shins and the backs of my hands. I have tried to ignore it, thinking the best thing I could afford is the store brand moisturizer that I had been using, since it was the the best I could do. I mean, who needs nice looking legs at 60 anyway, right? I really thought only thing that would fix it would be some really expensive cream with a French name.Well One day about two weeks ago I had a dr. Appt for something unrelated. She took a look at my shameful gams and said ‘oof’. Not good when your doc says ‘oof’.I took a chance and ordered this., thinking that I’d start at a lower price and work my way up.I showered, and applied . I noticed how smoothly it went on and soaked right in, without leaving any sticky or yucky feel. No fragrance a big big plus. Did this for two days. That night I was watching TV and my roommate happened to glance at my shins, and said ‘ your legs ? They look good. What are you using?’ I want some’. Sure enough, I looked down. My legs look 75 percent better, no longer scaly, brown and red old age spots noticeable faded, my roommate even said they looked ‘shiny’.! The backs of my hands, chest, and neck also much improved. I don’t know if I’m supposed to be using it on my face, but I have ( very small amount) and I swear my skin is brighter!Even if I skip a day, my legs are still smooth, shiny, and much healthier looking.To be fair, my face , although noticeable improved, and the backs of my hands, although much more hydrated , still have brown spots and crepey skin. For them, I know I’m gonna have to call in the big French guns- ‘oh deau many dollar signs’..

Works fantastic on the dry skin on my legs!!
I have very dry skin on my lower legs and have tried several skin creams without much relief. However, I tried Eucerin Advanced Repair Body Cream and it works fantastic. I get all day relief from my dry skin and it has helped it to heal as well. I also like that it is fragrance free.
