Not a bad product.
Lotion immediately improves appearance of skin. The only thing I’m not liking is that it’s sticky. Especially in this ultra humid weather Texas is experiencing right now. I wish the lotion was less sticky on the skin after application. Otherwise, so far I think it’s a good product.

Good affordable body moisturizer
This is a steal for the price. It is a medium-weight product that moisturizes very well. The shea butter in the formula adds a nice emollient factor that makes the product feel more expensive than it is. It is a little oily for my skin type but still feels nice. I really like the inclusion of niacinamide in this product as well.

Sticky and greasy
After use you can feel it on your skin for the next 24 hours so you definitely can’t use this daily. It feels sticky and makes little fuzzies from your clothes stick to your elbow crease. Not good.

A better alternative to more popular products on the market
The moisturizing aspect is the best part, which is does very well. There is no strong or even medium scent but I doubt if that really matters. It comes in a tube like bottle and whilst a bit expensive compared to other products, worth giving one try atleast.

The quantity is good. It is genuinely moisturizing. It absorbs in 20 seconds and feels light weight on skin.That being said. It does feel like there’s a weird later on skin at times. If you rub your skin dirt like particles might come off which is the product.It has no scent but a very light chemically smell which isn’t transferred to your skin.If your concerned about ingredients in your skincare this might be a good choice otherwise you can always find better products in this price range.

Not Good for Very Dry Skin
I’ve extremely dry hand n feet. This moisturizer is absolutely lightweight, fast absorbing n has a watery consistency. It’s like applying water on my skin. Doesn’t give a smooth,plump and supple feel. Maybe good for oily skin but my dry feet need a thicker moisturizer. Bought it because of glycerin, petrolatum n niacinamide but don’t like the dry feel post application. I apply it on damp skin n haven’t noticed too much stickiness.

One of the best! It is quickly absorbed into the skin and gives you that soothing smooth feel instantly. Non sticky and feels so light yet rich. Odor is less but has a distinct rich smell. Definitely buying again.

Made my body acne disappear
I don’t know if it works for everyone, but using it removed shoulder and back acne that appeared one day out of nowhere. Once it dries it doesn’t feel heavy on the skin and is moderately moisturizing.

Good product oversized packaging got the net content
Great product, happy with overall.Wasteful (not Minimalist) packaging. The inside content goes by wight, so doesn’t really matter, but it’s wasteful to use a larger tube for the marketing visual and only partially fill it. So not so happy about that aspect.- Maybe, the package was opened and some of the inner content was removed; unlikely though.Overall good product.

Bad Packaging! Good Moisturizer!
Outer envelope was fine but the actual product box was completely damaged and opened, it was very old stock as well (09/22). The moisturizer although I have used before is fine! I had better experiences with nyk** with new stocks and packaging!

My favourite
Tried it a month ago and it’s my new favorite. It makes my skin so soft. Has no artificial fragrance which is great for my super sensitive skin. Other body lotions that have fragrance give me bacne but this is the only one that doesn’t. ❤️

First of all it’s really good and moisturising I use this on my face as well very nice makes my skin plump and soft nourished only problem is stickiness it’s sticky because of glycerin not everyone is going to bear with stickiness , it’s good for winter !! Tho

v hydrating, best for dry skin
this moisturiser comes with heavy amount of glycerin so be prepared for a bit of stickiness. although in my experience (moderately dry skin), if applied on damp skin (towel dried, straight outta shower) in moderate amount, the stickiness gets absorbed after a while and the hydration lasts for more than 12 hrs, and moisturises your skin for even more than 36 hrs, not kidding. my skin has stopped feeling dry even on days i don’t put this lotion.

Rashes & itching
Do not go for this, my skin is a sturdy one as I travel a lot so tried this as my friend suggested but in a day it’s started itching, turned red & became rashes in a day

Value for Money!
The moisturizer is really good. It deeply nourishes the skin and you can really see and feel the difference with its regular use. Its a little bit greasy, which I personally don’t mind in winters but I doubt it can be used in summers for the same reason. Nonetheless, I’m definitely repurchasing it in the next winter season.

Smells like stale beer.
I’m not sure what wonders it does to the skin, and at this point I couldn’t care less, because it’s probably the most horrible smelling body product I have ever come across. Smells like stale beer, if you want people to avoid you, please do use it. The moment I used it for the first time, my first thought was to wash my hands, it smelled so bad, exactly like a stale beer. One can argue it might be great for skin, maybe, but I’m not applying something that smells so bad. I added a couple of essential oils to cover up the smell and use it, another worst part that I discovered was it doesn’t absorb well, leaves a slippery sort of film on the skin.Bought second product from Minimalist, and it’s been nothing but disappointment, great marketing, zero product deliverance. My opinion, avoid this at any cost.Also the lotion squeeze bottle was of the most cheap quality used, the cap would have broken after a few use. It’s just sitting in the cupboard,, waste of money, and essential oil I added to cover up the smell.

This lotion is overpriced,the niacinamide is too little and the quantity is too little to see any results , you will have to invest in like 2 3 tubes to be able to see any difference. and honestly you can find better working things in budget. don’t just run after a brand, yes minimalist has some redeeming products but this is not it. also it doesn’t get absorbed easily just sits on the surface like Vaseline.

A little too greasy
I’ve tried 3 Minimalist products thus far, and I’ve only really had decent results with one of them so far (not this lotion). Aside from the fact that I’ve used nearly the full tube and haven’t seen any results in terms of improvement of skin texture and pigmentation (which is what you’d normally expect from a niacinamide based lotion), I really hate the way my skin feels after using this. It’s way too greasy and you end up feeling sticky – definitely not a feeling you want in the summer heat. My skin doesn’t feel very hydrated either so I end up supplementing with another, more hydrating, less icky feeling lotion in the night. I know Minimalist is essentially a rip-off of The Ordinary brand abroad, but I was hoping that the products would end up being similarly effective and kind to my skin. So far I have been proven wrong in that regard. I wouldn’t recommend this lotion.

I have oily face but during winters my hands and legs become very dry and flaky. This one works very well to protect my skin if combined with a good medicated moisturizing soap. Face might feel a little oily but protecting skin is important.

Moisturizing
This moisturizer is the first one that has helped my dry skin. After applying it, I don’t get a white line if I scratch my skin. However, this is a gel like formulation and it takes time to absorb. Your skin will feel sticky for hours, can be discomforting in some cases. But it definitely keeps skin healthy.

Minimalist has great formulations no doubt. But this moisturizer is super sticky. I have tried application on damp skin thinking it might reduce the effect. But sadly no.. I absolutely adore the oats moisturizer and seriously wish they release a light weight moisturizer for body.

Small amount goes a long way!
I purchased this product as I needed a natural alternative for an inexpensive body moisturizer. I’ve been using it with some castor oil on my dry skin and so far so good! The castor oil helps with psoriasis and the lotion allows it to blend into my skin without feeling sticky.

Great for dry skin!
The lotion is really fast absorbing and doesn’t leave behind any greasy or sticky residue. It also has a faint pleasant scent without added perfumes or artifical odors. A little goes a long way, and it’s especially helpful during the winter months when my skin is more dry than usual. I especially like the breakdown of the ingredients, chemical properties, etc. In the past I found Niacinamide to be helpful for my dark spots over time– I haven’t used this product for that long, but I’m looking forward to watching that improve.

Great but puzzling!
This moisturiser comes with aesthetic looks and a unique way designed to open the package. The tube is upside down which makes it easier to access the lotion. I have attached some pictures below so, you can see it.The texture is like white creamy liquid. It doesn’t have any kind of fragrance (which is good.) The lotion gets absorbed in the skin easily after rubbing it a few times.It’s effective and leaves your skin moisturised for a long time.If you are buying it for the first time like me, then remember to do a patch test before applying it completely on your body. First, just apply it on the back side of your palm gently and leave it for 1-2 hours. If you don’t feel any kind of irritation then just apply it on your arms and legs. (Don’t go for the full body yet.)If you again don’t feel any kind of itchiness or irritation then you’re good to go. You can start applying it on your full body (don’t apply it on your face.) This is body lotion and not a face cream. I tried using it on my face for curiosity but it made my face all dry.The weight is just 180 grams. For me it’s enough to last for a month or so. However, it depends on your skin type. It does cost a bit. But, you can give it a try.Now, here comes the puzzling part. I’ve been applying it for the last 15 days or even more. I don’t seem to notice any kind of change. Sure, It does help me moisturising my skin. However, apart from that I don’t see any kind of change. I’m confused whether it’s really affecting my pigmentation (for the better) or not. Whether it’s making my skin healthy or not. I know it’s only meant for moisturising the skin and not for any fairness treatment.For just moisturising the skin it’s good. Apart from that, don’t expect any kind of surprises from it. That’s all I have to say. I’m rating this 5 stars because it serves the purpose it describes.

Purchased (pairs) it with the 1% wala Body Lotion. Works good in moisturising and the burn (my mistake) when I went harsh on my skin on the first day of usage. Smell is mild which is good and I like it. Price can be however brought a bit down.

Gives Great Hydration
Definitely worth my money. It gives such great hydration. I have very dry skin and patches of eczema. It keeps me moisturized. It is slightly greasy but not oily, I definitely don’t mind that. It doesn’t contain fragrance and colour. I use it after their salicylic bodywash. Feels refreshing. I really enjoy my bath and skin care because of Minimalist and The Ordinary.
